I was a little leary considering the title, because, well, nothing compares to Jane. I’ve read this classic several times, but this was my first time listening. Pride and Prejudice (audiobook by Rosamund Pike) The only drawback is that I have to wait until December 2018 for book 3!Ģ. This is a true series, and I’m enjoying getting to know more of the Ivy Hill inhabitants. I loved the continuing exploration of ladies trying to provide for themselves in an era (1820) that makes it nearly impossible without “marrying well.” You’ll want to read book 1, The Innkeeper of Ivy Hill, first or you might be a little lost.
